Art Gallery 1881
After working separately for more than 30 years in Organization, Communication, Hospitality and Education-oriented corporate companies, they decided to do business together and established Art Gallery 1881 in November 2022.
The competencies they have accumulated over the years in order to produce 'effective works' that are different, result-oriented and co-operated ; they aim to combine it with an unhurried, calm and focused organizational style. After hundreds of operations in their professional business life, 'Premier' Istanbul is the first event they designed under their own name.

PhD Nenad PERIĆ
Full Professor of Arts and Full Professor of Social Sciences
He works at the Institue for Serbian Culture and Faculty of Social Sciences in Belgrade as Full Professor of Social Sciences (Marketing and Communications) and Full Professor of Arts (Production of Arts, Media and Advertising and Arts Theory). Also, he is Program Director of ŠumArt, Belgrade and freelance consultant. He was a Dean of the Faculty of Digital Arts in Belgrade and Head of Department for Production of Arts, Culture and Media at University Union-Nikola Tesla in Belgrade.
Except for PhD in Communications, he holds two master degrees in science (Management of Arts and Media) and one master and specialization degree in arts (Production). Also, he has finished School for Reserve Officers of Military academy and following courses (infantry captain in reserve).
In past fifteen years professor Perić was producer of many exhibitions that have usually combined different arts, like: painting, graphics, photography (visual arts in general), but also with strong input of interactive media. Also, he was author of two interactive media exhibitions in Belgrade. He is a founder of one annual exhibition in Belgrade and engaged with many different projects in Culture, Art and Media. He was a professor on seven different high education institutions and speaker on many public tribunes on topics like culture, arts and media, marketing and advertising with dozens of public appearances in print and electronic media. He is author of coauthor of five books and more than one hundred scientific papers in mentioned disciplines and topics.
Passionate about many things, but traveling the most, he has visited more than eighty countries and lived in Istanbul, Italy and Spain.
MSc. Jelena SIMIĆ
Art historian and Founder of The ŠumArt Association
Her career lasts more than twenty-five years, beginning in 1996 as an assistant editor of the culture and arts programms at the World Serbian Community (a Yugoslavian non-governmental organization at the United Nations, headquartered in Geneva) and continuing up to 2021 as the editor of the culture and arts programms as well as the manager of several projects, the most recent was part of the European Cultural Heritage.
She has worked in both the public and private sectors (for example Club of Fine Arts, 2001–2014, founder and owner, education), coordinating more than twenty bilateral, trilateral, and international cultural events. In 2020, she and five young photographers launched the travelling exhibition "Tu Mač Fotografije" as a pilot initiative. Since 2021, is the president of the ŠumArt organization.
The primary objective of ŠumArt is to develop a new transnational, creative eco-system through Balkan cross-sector partnerships and cross-border collaboration, showcasing cultural variety and innovation in the Balkan region. As a result, she established the regional interdisciplinary forum ŠumArt, the mission of which is to facilitate the exchange of ideas and experiences in the region among experts, young researchers (art history and theory, humanities and social sciences), and visual artists (visual art, applied art, digital art, video).
